Agnes Szavay was born on December 29, 1988 in Hungary. She is the only Hungarian player to reach the top ranking. As on February 2009, she was World No. 25. However, he career highest ranking was World No. 12 which she attained in April 2008. From very early of her life, at the age of six, she started to play tennis, initially she was coached by her parents. Later she got professional training from more professional coaches. Her younger sister, Blanka is also a professional tennis player. She was turned professional in 2004, and till February 2009, her career single titles remained 2 in WTA and 3 in ITF in singles and in doubles also.
